Lighthouse Lamp

The base was turned from a block of Pine I had at the back of the garage.
Since it has settled down fully after turning, a couple of cracks have appeared but I think that adds to the character as it represents rocks at the base of a lighthouse which are far from smooth.
The column and top is turned from Mahogany.
The glass was ordered and supplied (via email) from Tuffnell Glass for a small fee and was very helpful and efficient.
A hole was drilled down the shaft of the lighthouse and through the base and a 5 watt LED bulb and holder fitted.to a cable which plugs into a 3 pin mains socket.
