Spinning Tops

Our wood turning club in Sheffield raises money for charity and one way is to create spinning tops which are for sale at display venues we attend.
The spinning top below was created from 4 separate pieces of wood by turning the outer ring then drilling a hole in the centre. This was followed by turning a piece of wood to fit in the drilled hole.
This was repeated again then a dowell placed in the centre hole.
